For the bag that we’re doing for the KK Twestival this Thursday, we’re kinda thinking, why not mix things up a bit? Every TBB bag has been known to have carefully selected and matched fabrics so this time, we’re gonna throw in all our favourite cotton prints and colours and voila! I think we’re onto a truly eclectic and whimsical cotton concoction!

And what’s a Twitter Festival without the little blue bird hey? We googled ‘Twitter’ and found this cute birdie bird, and really,  a cute birdie applique would really make the day methinks!

I think we’re gonna have to call it The Birdie Bag now :))

The Bag Bar is proud to be a part of the inaugural Twestival in Kota Kinabalu!

What is Twestival?

On Thursday 25 March 2010, people in hundreds of cities around the world will come together offline to rally around the important cause of Education by hosting local events to have fun and create awareness.  Twestival™ (or Twitter Festival) uses social media for social good.  All of the local events are organized 100% by volunteers and 100% of all ticket sales and donations go direct to projects. Go to the official KK Twestival site for more information on how you can get involved!

Just for this occasion, The Bag Bar will be offering a specially designed and custom-made bag called the ‘Twestival Bag’ which will be put up for auction at the event. 100% of the proceeds from the auction will go towards charity. Participate in the auction and not only will you have a chance to own a one-off TBB bag, but you will be part of a good cause too!
