Am a little sad, actually. Eng Leong has been such a staple of Gaya Street and KK’s historical landscape.

Hi there: Love your blog and love your bags! I stumbled onto your delicious bag blog when I was looking for cotton bags (the rough and tumble shopper’s variety). Glad I ended up here. I’m from Penang and was thrilled to bits to see you both featuring my hometown, my home for the past 20 years. Penang’s getting really cool these days – with new yet nostalgic cafes and old-world hotels. By the way I love bags too and think cotton bags are the cat’s whiskers.
